Bravo, Artopex
Artopex, the largest Quebec-based manufacturer of office furniture and one of the most important in North America to offer a full range of office products under one roof, has requalified for the Canada’s 50 Best Managed Companies 2008 award. This prestigious national award is sponsored by Deloitte, CIBC Commercial Banking, National Post, Les Affaires and Queen’s School of Business. “We are very proud to receive this honor for the second consecutive year,” says Daniel Pelletier, President and Founder of Artopex. “The award is the culmination of our 2008 accomplishments that were made possible by our talented and devoted team working in every department of our company.” Artopex celebrated many accomplishments in 2008. Two new products, Nano and Noki, were released at events in March at the Montreal and Toronto showrooms. In June, the Granby systems and specials plant moved into a new building, doubling its square footage and increasing its production capacity. In September a new showroom was opened in Calgary. “To be accredited for a second year in a row as one of Canada’s 50 Best Managed Companies is a remarkable achievement,” said Rick Lunny, Executive Vice-President, CIBC Retail Markets. “This award is a tribute to these companies’ strong leadership, talented workforce and unsurpassed corporate values. They are models of success for companies striving to reach the highest standards.” The 2008 winners of the Canada’s 50 Best Managed Companies award, along with Requalified and Platinum Club members will be honored at the annual Best Managed gala in Toronto on February 9. On the same date, the Best Managed symposium will address leading-edge business issues that are key to the success of today’s business leaders.
