Spanish outdoor furniture company STUA is pleased as punch that its furniture collection furnishes the new Acropolis Museum in Athens. The project has been a dream of the Greeks for more than 30 years, and it has finally come true – thanks to architect Bernard Tschumi and his collaborator, Michalis Fotiadis. Located on a hillside next to the Acropolis, the museum is already one of Greece’s most important tourist destinations.
STUA’s Gas chairs are used in all public spaces of the museum, with a different finish chosen for each area. Its Zero tables have also been used, with various materials chosen for the tabletops,
The public spaces comprise an outdoor terrace, restaurant, cafeteria, VIP area and multimedia room.
