Unlimited onespace

Propelling Toronto forward with contemporary infill developments, onespace unlimited — the newly branded architecture and interior design studio — is quietly giving Toronto main streets a makeover. With its partners, onespace is producing intimate mid-rise condos that meet the needs of a style-conscious urban crowd, including Two Gladstone, 717 Dovercourt and SYNC Lofts at 630 Queen Street East. Construction for Gladstone has just begun, SYNC Lofts is selling fast and 717 Dovercourt will be hitting the market in the fall.

Interestingly, onespace has also designed security facilities for the upcoming G20 summit. The studio is working strategically with Toronto Police Services to ensure the safety of civilians, staff and visitors during the international conference.

Onespace takes urbanites outside the city by merging nature with waterfront luxury in Muskoka with the Orchard Point Harbour condo development. This highly sought-after cottage country lifestyle on the narrows in Orillia features a stone and timber design that blends with the surrounding landscape.

In a climate that prioritizes celebrity architecture, the studio takes a revolutionary approach to its practice. “Creativity belongs to everyone,” says onespace president Rod Rowbotham, who takes pride in breaking the barriers that typically stand between designers and clients.

This thinking has awarded the studio such high-profile projects as a new 17-storey highrise located at 500 Sheppard Avenue. Other notable projects  include 9T6, iLofts and California Condos (nominated for two prestigious awards, including BILD’s project of the year). Onespace takes a business-savvy approach to its practice, offering integrated architecture and interior design services in their projects — running the gamut from residential and retail to hospitality.
