Duravit on film

Check out Duravit’s newest fans. A team of penguins can be seen “chilling out” in the company’s Vero line of bathroom ceramics in this summer’s family comedy, Mr. Popper’s Penguins.

Mr. Popper’s Penguins is the story of a businessman – played by Jim Carrey – whose life gets turned upside down when he inherits six penguins and they turn his swanky Manhattan apartment into a snowy winter wonderland. With its impressive design, Vero fits right in with Mr. Popper’s lavish apartment – and the line’s versatility is highlighted by a new kind of user – a penguin.

A favorite among design enthusiasts, Vero began as a collection of three stand-alone washbasins. Over time, it has evolved into a complete collection featuring a clean-cut, classic rectangular shape that has made Vero one of Duravit’s most popular collections. Most recently introduced to this ever-expanding collection are a spacious 47 ¼”- wide double basin and a striking new finish: high-gloss black.
