Kohler’s new toilet, the Numi (full name: Numi Comfort Height One-Piece Elongated Toilet), is truly revolutionary. A touch-screen remote control, about the size of an iPod Touch, controls flushing, cleaning, drying, heating and even music, plus other settings and preferences. Compact and streamlined, with a pleasing block-like shape, it also features location sensors that detect a person’s presence; LED lights for illumination; two flushing modes; heated air to warm a user’s feet on chilly mornings (yes, please!); FM radio and stereo speakers; and much more. No wonder Numi’s cost is steep: approximately $7,500 Canadian.
