Inscape recently partnered with its dealer, Peabody Office Furniture, to host a series of events for Boston’s design community. More than 80 attendees from architectural and design firms Elkus Manfredi Architects, Tsoi/Kobus & Associates, Sasaki, BH+A, Spagnolo Gisness & Associates, Inc., Baker Design Group, Inc., and Bergmeyer Associates, Inc. attended the events.
Tim Baxter, Inscape’s VP of product marketing and BIFMA-level faculty member, presented a CEU on the BIFMA e3 Furniture Sustainability Standard and level Certification. The seminar covers topics including defining and measuring sustainability, how the certification process works and details on what is measured. Says Baxter, “The interest of the designers in learning about level certification is a testament to their commitment to practice in an environmentally responsible way.”
