Congrats to George and Glenn, and well deserved.

In early February, Ryerson University handed out its 2013 Alumni Achievement Awards, which honours outstanding Ryerson graduates who have not only excelled in their careers, but have also made a tremendous contribution to their profession and to their community.

Among the recipients were George Yabu and Glenn Pushelberg, co-founders of Yabu Pushelberg. Both graduated from Ryerson’s Interior Design program in 1976, and since have gone on to design projects such as the W Hotel in Times Square, Tiffany & Co store in New York City, St.Regis Hotels in San Francisco and Bal Harbour, Bymark Restaurant in Toronto. They were also both Honorary Doctorate recipients at Ryerson University in 2003.
