Erwan & Ronan Bouroullec – so far
French designers Erwan & Ronan Bouroullec are opening their monographic exhibition Momentané at the Museum des Arts Décoratifs in Paris on Apr. 26. Eight hundred square metres will be dedicated to showing all the projects the ultra-talented brothers have made since the beginning of their first collaboration, about 15 years ago.
The exhibition is articulated around a wide central space, the Arts Décoratifs nave, in which they imagined a gigantic textile architecture that will host an installation presenting their works on partitions (Algues, North Tiles, Twigs, Clouds). Then, on one side of the nave, a more intimate set-up will show about a hundred objects and furniture organized in sequences.
The opposite aisle, on the side of the Tuileries Garden, will be dedicated to the collective and work environment with the presentation of the furniture collection designed for the University of Copenhagen and office systems, such as Joyn, and more recently, WorkBay.
Momentané showcases all aspects of what Erwan & Ronan do – offering the opportunity to present research models, as well as about 300 drawings and also films and photography.
