INSIDE: The World Festival of Interiors has announced a Call For Entries for its global awards programme that is conducted concurrent to the festival, which celebrates today¹s inspired and accomplished interiors worldwide. This year’s three-day INSIDE festival will be hosted in October alongside its sister event, World Architecture Festival at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore. According to organizers, “this festival provides the international design and architecture community with a larger, more vibrant platform for creative thought, inspiration.”

The competition includes 13 categories: Bars & Restaurants / Civic / Creative Re-use / Culture / Digital / Display / Education / Health / Hotels / Offices / Residential / Retail / Transport.

The competition will be judged by more than 20 designers and editors from around the world. Chaired by internationally renowned designer and RCA Professor Emeritus, Nigel Coates, judges also confirmed for this World Interior of the Year Award 2013 (to date) include past winner Lyndon Neri of Neri & Hu along with Odile Decq (ODBC) / Eero Koivisto (Claesson Koivisto Rune) / Pernilla Ohrstedt (Pernilla Ohrstedt Studio) / Linda Morey Smith (MoreySmith) / Nicholas Stringer (Shed Design) / Shawn Sullivan (Rockwell Group) / Rob Wagemans (Concrete).

Finalists will present their project in person to the judging panel during the festival. To accompany this, an exhibition of all entries and a talks programme will take place during the three-day festival. The announcement of winners will be made at an evening awards ceremony on Friday, October 4.
