Jonathan Dorthe’s take on traditional quilt patterns
Montreal-based designer Jonathan Dorthe has introduced a new table for Atelier-D, inspired by traditional North American quilt patterns. His Quilt Table features a top made of small chevron shapes assembled in a marquetry style. The pieces are etched and stained, then put together in a maple frame. The metal legs are easy to remove from the table top to facilitate shipping.
This contemporary craftsmanship table is a new take on traditional techniques and motifs.
The Quilt Table is available on the Atelier-D website (atelier-d.ca).
