Duravit’s X-Large even larger

First introduced in 2000, Duravit’s classic X-Large series has been redefined. Best known for its well-defined yet simple design and extensive range of bathroom furniture, the reinterpreted collection by Duravit and Sieger Design adds greater variety to the company’s most wide-ranging series. The new bathroom furniture comprises 112 models in eight different finishes that can all be combined with the existing collection. Sleek and modern, the new consoles, cabinets, mirrors, and vanity units offer abundant storage, which allows for the bathroom to become both a tranquil and functional space.

Notes Duravit USA president Tim Schroeder, “Duravit and Sieger Design have created a truly innovative collection that reflects the architectural and technical spirit of today. The X-Large series is a clear expression of Duravit’s goal to provide a wide variety of modern styles at a unique and accessible price range.”

The consoles receive a sophisticated update with a light appearance that features slim lines and flat, reduced edges. With a total thickness of 0.9 inches, only half of which is visible, the consoles feature a chic shadow gap effect. A variable width of 31 to 78 inches, and depths of both 19 inches and 21 inches, allow for the consoles to be both adaptable and suitable for bathrooms of any size.

The refreshed vanity units have been cleverly redesigned to provide both style and additional storage. They are available in widths ranging from 15 to 47 inches, and come equipped with a door, a pull-out compartment, or two drawers. The cabinets on these units start from a width of 11 inches, providing ample room to store bathroom necessities as well as creating a clean, calming space. An adaptable storage unit with cushion provides for both space and relaxation by incorporating a comfortable and luxurious seat.

Updated mirror cabinets are topped with an elegant LED light that produces a soft, warm glow without glare. These cabinets are available with an optional sound system that Duravit has developed, which allows for all Bluetooth-compatible devices to control the system and stream music. In addition to providing outstanding sound designed specially for the bathroom, this system is also extremely user-friendly.

Eight different finishes are available for the entire X-Large series. They have been expanded to include finishes that have a particularly natural look and feel, including brushed, real-wood oak veneer and a natural walnut decor finish. Duravit has also added a matte white decor finish to the series, offering further polished style options to enhance any modern bathroom.
