Corinne Campenio coming to Toronto
A new furniture line entered the decoration market in Montreal last May. Artist and designer Corinne Campenio aunched her furniture line offering items such as chairs, sofas, loveseats, benches and home accessories. Her pieces are made with her own original photographs that are later modified into graphic designs and printed on fabric.
Corinne Campenio designs have a unique style making them immediately recognizable, including the artistic signature covering a part of the furniture piece. Brand-new samples will be presented for the first time to the Toronto public at the Toronto Fall Home Show Oct. 3-6.
The designer offers a catalogue with several themes to choose from for each season of the year, very similar to a ready-to-wear line. Her pieces are all custom made, whether it is for the theme choice, materials and/or finishings. The brand also offers to revamp old furniture pieces and can create custom themes.
Campenio is native of Southern France. She gets her inspiration from her travels and creates themes that are classic and contemporary. Every theme tells a story, whether it is an urban Street Art chair, A Day at Versailles or a mix of Paris and lingerie. All pieces and accessories are made in Canada in an expert workshop, using Louis XVI style furniture and craftsmanship of high quality. Signature pieces will be displayed at the Toronto Fall Home Show as well as a wide range of new pillows from the Fall/Winter 2013 collection. Visitors will be able to buy on site or place an order.
Campenio works in collaboration with her daughter Jessica Hofman, who is a jewelry designer. Together, they have been working on this project to design and release a high-end furniture line.
