Teknion’s Applied Brilliance
Teknion Corporation today announced that it will host a select group of architects and designers under the age of 35 at the Applied Brilliance Conference, Oct. 14-15, in New York.
“For the sixth consecutive year, Teknion has had the honor of hosting five architects and designers through the Junior Fellows Sponsorship, which helps develop young talent under the age of 35,” says Kay Sargent, vice-president Architecture, Design and Workplace Strategies. “Applied Brilliance is a great opportunity for our guests to explore first-hand this year’s theme, ‘Being Human in a Digital Age,’ while learning from innovative thought leaders about the opportunities and challenges that society faces with digital technology. It also affords them a chance to connect with other rising stars from across the country. It’s a great peer-to-peer experience as well as a learning opportunity.”
Applied Brilliance reveals emerging trends and major cultural paradigm shifts holistically through presentations by brilliant speakers who represent a wide range of disciplines, including physicists, poets, philosophers, artists, business innovators, theorists, behaviorists, environmentalists and futurists. Speakers are examples of applied brilliance and their presentations inform, inspire, confound, provoke and transform.
The 2013 Applied Brilliance Conference takes place Oct. 14-15 at the Wythe Hotel
in Brooklyn, New York. For more information on the conference, visit appliedbrilliance.com.
