Inscape goes for the Gold in NY

Inscape is pleased to announce that its showroom in New York City has been awarded LEED Gold certification.

Designed by Studios Architecture, the 6,500-square-foot space showcases Inscape’s creative solutions for the workspace. The showroom achieved LEED Gold certification for effective energy use, lighting, water and material use, as well as a variety of other sustainable strategies.

“Building operations are nearly 40 per cent of the solution to the global climate change challenge,” says Rick Fedrizzi, president, CEO & founding chair, U.S. Green Building Council. “While climate change is a global problem, innovative companies like Inscape are addressing it through local solutions.”

The showroom is located in the trendy Meatpacking District: 414 W. 14th St., 6th floor, New York.

ABOUT LEED-CI

It is the recognized system for certifying high-performance green tenant spaces that are healthy, productive places to work; are less costly to operate and maintain; and have a reduced environmental footprint. This rating system was developed specifically for tenants in commercial and institutional buildings who lease their space or don’t occupy the entire building. For more info, visit usgbc.org
