Teknion goes to Ottawa

More than 200 architects and designers helped Teknion celebrate the opening of its redesigned Ottawa showroom at 55 Metcalfe Street on Oct. 9 and 10. The event included CEU presentations by Teknion’s VPt Architecture, Design and Workplace Strategies, Kay Sargent. Following Sargent’s Change Management presentation, Teknion gave away copies of Leading Successful Change – 8 Keys to Making Change Work, a book by Gregory Shea. Pedometers were presented to guests following the Well Being CEU.

The Ottawa showroom features new workplace layouts conducive to today’s shifting ways of work. Each area tells a unique story. Self-conducted showroom tours featured Teknion experts at each of the seven areas: The Resident Worker; Touchdown and Shared Spaces; Private Offices, Learning and Sharing Areas; The Lounge; Collaboration Zones; and the Enclave. The event theme was “Opening Doors. Sharing Ideas.”
