Tron, triumphant
The Tron table pays tribute to the 1982 cult movie directed by Steven Lisberger, noted for its pioneering use of computer graphics. It’s base was inspired by a mathematic logarithm. It’s a complex steel net made of asymmetric modules welded in a double-cone shape.
The peculiar structure of the table ensures perfect stability to the top, and a stunning stage appeal. The top is available in chamfered glass or many different kinds of wood ( oak, rosewood, louro preto, ebony, canaletto walnut, teak).
With this innovative design project, the Italian Capo d’Opera company shows exactly what it’s made of.
Tron is the winner of a 2014 Interior Innovation Award, selected by the German Design Council, and it will be displayed among the winners in the exhibition scheduled to be held at IMM Cologne from January 13 to 19. What’s more, while at the show, the table will be competing for the title of Best of the Best 2014.
