London, U.K.-based Fromental unveils three brand-new hand-painted wallpaper designs for its more subtle Roomskins collection. Caissons is a contemporary trompe l’oeil design imitating coffered panelling, available in four standard colourways. Multiple washes of metallic paints on silk give the effect of the semi-precious stone Tiger’s Eye. Inspired by the translucent patterning of buffalo horn, Boreas is a subtle all-over pattern creates a soft, ethereal feel (hand-painted, with touches of metallics on some colourways).

Thomas’s sketches inspired by nature and classical ornament were interpreted with the intricate hand-painting and hand-embroidery techniques that adorn Fromental’s other wallpapers to create the Roger Thomas Collection for Fromental.
Novel techniques have been applied to create a range of eye-catching fabrics for drapery, wallcoverings and upholstery, incorporating a brand new way of manipulating textiles.
