Office Specialty is excited to announce the winner of its What Do You Store? contest is Mireille Metwalli, interior designer at HOK (Toronto).
To celebrate its 125th anniversary in 2013, Office Specialty launched the What Do You Store? contest, asking designers to share photos of what they store – on their desk, in pedestals, in shared office storage cabinets or wherever they store stuff in their office. As work styles and the workplace continue to evolve, so do the storage needs of today’s mobile workers. A pedestal designed by Mireille and a cheque for $5,000 were recently presented to the designer: “It was truly a surprise to get the call telling me I had won the Office Specialty contest. I loved designing my custom pedestal and was able to use one of my favorite fabrics which was really fun. I am so happy with how it turned out. I will display it as a showpiece in my living room.”
