But what happens when that tub is given a beautiful timeless shape formed from snow-white acrylics and clad in a gleaming exterior copper or nickel finish? it is transformed into a stunning bathroom centerpiece that elevates design to a new level. “The Sawyer presents a unique tub design that will fit into a wide range of design schemes,” says Americh president Ed Richmond. “Its shape and finishes are classic in nature, but they are represented in simple clean lines that will allow it to be integrated beautifully into a wide range of bathroom plans. But what really sets this tub apart is its acrylic interior and copper or nickel exterior.”
The Sawyer is a freestanding tub that viewed from the side raises from the floor in slightly angled lines that peak at either end. From these ends the top edges of the tub gently fall to a slightly lower centre line that when viewed from above creates and oblong shape. The tub stands 26” tall, is 71” long and 26” deep from its highest point. When filled to capacity it will hold 80 gallons of water.
The tub’s interior is made from the finest acrylic materials, while its exterior can be ordered with either a copper or nickel finish. Its polished chrome integral overflow and waste are centrally mounted and can be ordered in a wide range of finishes. The Sawyer’s only other options are decorative towel rings that are mounted on the exterior sides of the tub.
