Dornbracht has struck (rose) gold with the addition of Cyprum, its most robust gilt finish to date and a fashionable look for creating chic and distinctive decors. The name was derived from the Latin word “cuprum,” referring to copper mines of the ancient world.
Made of a copper and gold alloy mixture, the 18-carat patina features a non-corrosive electroplated surface.
Cyprum is the first new finish to be launched by Dornbracht since 2009 and is available in the brand’s most iconic designs – MEM (bath) and Tara (kitchen).
Developed in partnership with the company’s longtime collaborator Sieger Design, Cyprum is due to be available in North America summer 2014.
