D’apostrophe showcases two of its Belgian brands of outdoor furniture at the upcoming ICFF in New York

With summer just over a month away, D’apostrophe is set to get ICFF attendees in the spirit with a range of wares ideal for warm weather. The NYC-based supplier of high-end European furnishings will be focusing on two of its most exciting Belgian brands: Renson and Royal Botania. Perfect for sun or surf, each offer a myriad of materials that can withstand the elements. By marrying the two brands, the D’Apostrophe booth will offer offers the complete package as it features a combination of outdoor architectural solutions and furnishings.

RENSON

Renson prides itself on its long-standing experience in sun protection and ventilation. Founded in 1909, the company develops and manufacturers innovative solutions and concepts, which help improve living spaces and cut energy costs.

Its Algarve, a simple and practical terrace covering offering a sun-protection roof system based on rotating blades, will be on display at ICFF. The extruded aluminum blades rotate up to 150°, pivoting from an open (ventilation) to a closed (waterproof) position. A gutter system drains the rainwater away towards the columns. The structures can be totally customizable – from an open space to an exterior room with glass doors, screens and heating. Available in the full range of RAL colours.

ROYAL BOTANIA

The terrace will be outfitted with pieces from Royal Botania’s Ixit and Beacher collections as well as the Club lamp. Founded by engineers Kris Van Puyvelde and Frank Boschman in 1992, Royal Botania integrates the three Es – Esthetics, Ergonomics and Engineerin – into each and every product it offers. Made of carefully harvested mature teak, the three collections on display bring the brand back to its roots. In addition to its luxurious loungers and deep seating sectional, Ixit offers a range of tables in various sizes, as well as benches and stools. Its colourful cushions provide comfort and enhance the summery feel.

The classic Beacher will make attendees yearn for the beach. Incredibly comfortable, the sling seat is available in white, ecru, blue, terracotta, grey, mocha, cappuccino, fondant and black fabric, as well as white, ecru, cappuccino, bronze, black, orange, turquoise and silver batyline. Its matching footrest is the perfect accessory for kicking back and taking in the sun.

ICFF runs May 17-20 at NY’s Jacob K. Javitz Convention Center
