New Jersey-based Stylex introduces a new executive conference chair: Robus

Stylex has introduction its Robus task chair. Ideal for executive conferences and desking situations, its supports users who are engaged in long meetings, heads-down deskwork, and light computing. Robus is also ingeniously engineered to achieve a significant level of passive ergonomics, with a faceted sewing detail on the seat that provides significant rear-leg relief in reclined positions. This faceted application contributes to its richly comfortable sitting experience, while presenting a strong visual statement of elegance, grace, and enduring harmony.

Says Stylex president John Golden, “Robus communicates strength and solidity, traits that one expects in a product aimed at the executive user. From its sculpted arms to its faceted upholstery, it is a leader’s chair – smart, confident, functional without bravado.”

Robus is available in both high- and mid-back models to effectively target the primary functions of the line: executive desking and conference. Seating comfort is enhanced through the use of a forward position knee-tilt mechanism with tiltlock control and pneumatic height adjustment. The Robus seat consists of two pieces of integrated molded foam to provide excellent, long-lasting support. The back incorporates a steel rod support structure fitted with mesh and over-molded with foam.

Arm caps may be either urethane or upholstered to meet the demands of different environments.

As with all Stylex products, Robus will be GREENGUARD certified.
