The award-winning John table – designed by Patty Johnson – still manages to wow

The John table, designed by Patty Johnson for Speke Klein, has turned 10 – and remains as popular as ever.

As the weather gets chilly and frost touches the ground, thoughts turn to comfort food and warm gatherings around a table with family and friends.

John’s gently tapering legs add a touch of classicism to its sleek modern shape and the unique detail of the folded tabletop ends, mimicking a tablecloth, adds to its beauty.

John’s frame is of solid hardwood, and the top panel is crafted from carefully jointed wood veneer. The table is available in black walnut and white oak, and the dimensions can be customized to suit the space.
