Coming up at IIDEXCanada is IIDEX14 Interior Design Roundtable: Our Digital Future

Canadian Interiors is proud to be sponsoring the IIDEX14 Interior Design Roundtable: Our Digital Future at IIDEXCanada.

Everywhere you look people are talking tech, digital and apps. The Luddite within us might try to avoid adopting these platforms into our professional and personal lives but consider for a minute what resistance could mean for a company’s longevity, competitiveness and relevance.  The genesis behind every new technological application was borne to fill a need or solve a problem, and you don’t want to be left behind.

Alex Bozikovic, architecture critic for The Globe and Mail, moderates a panel of internationally recognized digital thought leaders for the IIDEX14 Interior Design Roundtable: Our Digital Future, which takes place on Thurs., Dec. 4, 2014, from 8 to 10 a.m. at IIDEXCanada.

As the digital realm continues to expand, how will your practice change with it? Who are the thought leaders and early adopters, and what best practices should we be paying attention to?

The three members of the panel – Denise Cherry, principal, director of design for O + A; John Snavely, designer at Xbox (Microsoft); and Setsu Ito, owner, Studio Ito – answer these questions and more as they examine the way the digital realm has and will continue to impact the way we work, live and play.

The seminar takes place in the Keilhauer Keynote Theatre at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, north building.

IIDEXCanada runs Dec. 3 – 4.
