Italian kitchen star Scavolini opens two new locations in Spain

Operating since 1984, Scavolini is the leading name in Italy for kitchens. Nowadays, the company also offers collections for bathrooms and living rooms. For over 20 years, the brand has been present in Spain and currently has 22 stores located across the country including, recently, two important openings in Marbella and Burgos.

The new Scavolini Store Burgos opened its doors for the first time last month on the first floor of a prestigious city centre building of enormous historical and artistic value. Just a short distance away from Plaza Mayor, Teatro Principal and the famous Forum de la Evolución–Palacio de Congresos, the Burgos Store is an elegant, design space covering 110 square metres and with over 15 linear metres of window space displaying several of Scavolini kitchens, including Scenery, Tetrix, Liberamente and Evolution, and two solutions in the new Scavolini Bathrooms range: Aquo and Rivo. Run by Angel Maria Renedo Orcaso who has 10 years of experience with the company, the store is aimed at industry professionals – architects, interior designers and builders – and the general public.

The Scavolini Store Marbella opened officially in October and is located in the exclusive residential area of Milla de Oro. With its 200 square metres of elegantly fitted showroom space, the store – run by German Pashtushenko, Román Prokopenkov and Maiia Rovda of Cocinas Pesaro Store SL – is not only an important showcase for Scavolini in Spain, but also an excellent example of Italian design, uniquely interpreted by the three managers. The store boasts a vast selection of the company’s most representative models, such as Diesel Social Kitchen, Scenery, Tetrix, Flux, Liberamente, Tess, Open, Baltimora and Baccarat, with the addition of a selection of the latest offerings for living rooms and bathrooms.

Both stores have highly qualified sales staff with years of experience in the industry, all ready to provide the best service at all stages of purchase.

These latest additions to the Spanish market reflects Scavolini’s continuing expansion into international retail markets. The company currently has more than 1,300 outlets worldwide with more than 90 Scavolini Stores in Italy and over 70 abroad. These include, Scavolini Soho Gallery, currently the largest kitchens retail outlet in Manhattan.

ALL ABOUT SCAVOLINI

Scavolini was founded in 1961 by the entrepreneurial brothers Valter and Elvino Scavolini from Pesaro. In just a few years, the small company which produced handmade kitchens evolved to become one of Italy’s leading industrial companies. In 1984, Scavolini became the industry’s market leader for Italy, a position which it continues to hold to this day.

The company expanded considerably in a short time and, nowadays, boasts an industrial plant that employs 550 people. The results of the company’s efforts are highlighted by turnover figures in excess of 175 million euros in 2013. In addition, ancillary component suppliers have sprung up around the company over the years and now constitute an essential factor in the development of the local territory.
