The year 2015 is looking bright, based on four new collections from contemporary lighting manufacturer Studio Italia Design. Hand-blown Murano glass combined with the latest LED technologies means that the fixtures are as smart as they are stylish.
CURL MY LIGHT The Curl My Light line was designed by Russian designer Dima Loginoff. This group includes a family of pendants, table and floor lamps that can be combined in a space or used individually. The fixtures are made in Italy by slicing a metal cylinder in pieces and then welding the pieces back together. This manual process is made by expert artisans and machinists to guarantee the highest quality and workmanship
NOSTALGIA Nostalgia marries its retro shape with LED technology to provide a rich pendant collection. The sizes and shapes of the hand-blown glass differ slightly and are offered in four colours: crystal, chrome, gold and rose gold. Pendant sizes are 4.92” in diameter, 7.87” and 11.02”. The pendants work beautifully in any number of configurations or clusters and are appropriate for residential or hospitality projects.
KELLY CLUSTERS The Kelly cluster pendants are the newest addition to the Studio Italia Design catalogue. This collection combines the small Kelly LED sphere in clusters going from one to 36 spheres in a single canopy. Each 7”-diameter sphere is powered by an 8.7w LED module creating a unique lighting effect.
PUZZLE The Puzzle line is a combination of flat squares and rectangles in white metal designed for indirect lighting. The 17w LED chips which are included are slim, dimmable and powerful.
