World Festival of Interiors call for entries

INSIDE – World Festival of Interiors has opened the call for entries for its 2015 awards competition. Comprising the most original and exciting interiors from the last 12 months, last year’s awards consisted of nominations from 21 countries across nine diverse categories. Entries are now open until 22 May 2015.

Annually drawing submissions from practices and designers from around the world, including the UK, USA, Singapore, India, Australia and China, INSIDE offers a global celebration of interior design through a three-day programme of talks, awards and exhibitions. The festival will take place from 4 – 6 November in Singapore.

The awards programme forms the core of the festival and will be judged by more than 20 distinguished international designers and editors. Projects can be entered across nine different categories, ranging from grand civic spaces and transportation hubs to bars, clubs and shops.

Designers of shortlisted entries will travel to Singapore to present their designs live to judges and delegates. Category winners will then re-present their designs to a super-jury on the final day, with the World Interior of the Year winner being revealed at a Gala Awards Dinner on Friday 6 November, an accolade previously won by David Kohn and Joyce Wang Studio.

INSIDE runs concurrently with WAF (World Architecture Festival) and together they promote the world’s biggest international architecture and interior design festival programme.
