Designing carpets for Nodus, Lorenzo Palmeri looks to the herb for inspiration
In Italian, wild herbs translates as “erbe matte.” Poetic and fresh, designer and musician Lorenzo Palmeri’s Erbamatta project includes Tarassaco (dandelion) and Centocchio (chickweed): two amazing rugs, hand knotted by the master weavers of Nodus, the Italian maker of high-design carpets.
TARASSACO Rug in Tibetan wool, handknotted in Nepal; 100 knots per square inch, pile height 5 mm. Size: 121×160 cm (+ stem 71 cm). Production time : three months.
