Introducing Grusella, a console-with-a-difference by Paolo Foglini for Formabilio

Neat, functional and essential lines give shape and meaningful expression to Grusella, a console that becomes a shelf, small bookcase, a place your put your showpieces.

This is an evocative furniture element, recalling the concept of “construction” and the mythical machines – the cranes! – that, with their profile, characterize urban landscapes and draw new skylines. In the same way Grusella with his presence, characterizeIntres the entry hall making functional and stylish, fitting perfectly in any corner of the living where you decide to put it.

Grusella has a shelf, which is secured to the wall and a base, which ends with the storage tray with a contrasted colour inside.

Paolo Foglini was born in 1981 in Fermo, in the Marches region of Italy, where he currently lives and works as a designer. Since he was a child, being son of a carpenter, he always loved to draw and see how things were made, a passion that led him first to graduate at the Art Institute and then in Industrial and Environmental Design in Ascoli Piceno. Straight after graduation, he started his career working with architects and interior designers; this how he started to be passionate about design and to believe that design is not only aesthetics but creativity and innovation applied to the function and shape above all.

Says he of Formabilio: “Formabilio was a nice discovery; it is a great opportunity to unleash our own creativity, to gain popularity, and confront ourselves with other designers sharing thoughts and ideas.”
