New book coming from Austrian architect and designer Martin Mostböck

His designs are to be found in the collections of internationally distinguished museums, including the Museum of Arts and Design in New York, the Design Museum Holon in Tel Aviv, and the MAK (Austrian Museum of Applied Arts) in Vienna; his works have brought him many national and international design prizes and nominations – he is Martin Mostböck.
Interdisciplinary architect and designer, he designs furniture, houses, business furnishings and interiors, as well as objects of everyday use.
Austrian Martin Mostböck presents a book about his work. AID – ARCHITECTURE INTERIORS DESIGN will be published this month by Verlag Anton Pustet.
His approach in design is comparable to that of a design engineer who comes up with ideas which he wishes to make not only visible, but palpable for other people.
He sees architecture as a shared journey, at the end of which all participants are happy, and compares planning a house to working on a made-to-measure suit. The architect has to read his client’s mind – only then will the result have a soul.
