Gus* Modern introduces “Mix” modular upholstery series

Canadian home furnishings brand Gus* Modern introduced a new modular upholstery collection at the Fall 2015 High Point Market. Called “Mix”, the new modular collection will let buyers mix and match five different components and fabrics to build their own custom sectional, sofa or chaise.

Also launching is an expanded in-stock fabric program for the top three upholstery frames from Gus* Modern – the Jane, the Spencer and the Atwood Series.  All three series will share the same six core fabrics with an additional two bold, unique fabrics designated to that particular series, for a total of 8 in-stock fabrics on each design.  In addition to having more fabrics to choose from, the classic, button-tufted Jane Series will now have a solid wood base option, giving a more transitional look to our best-selling series.

Jane Series

The popular Jane Series has been expanded and is now available in eight distinct fabrics and two different perimeter base options – solid wood or stainless steel. The Jane Bi-Sectional has been designed so that it can be configured with the chaise on the left or the right, depending on your floorplan. Like the rest of the Jane Series, it features button-tufted cushions and two different perimeter base options.

Spencer Series

The Spencer Series has been expanded and is now available in eight distinct fabrics.  The Spencer sofa has blind-tufted seat and back cushions with a stainless steel base.  It includes two square side cushions.

Atwood Series

The Atwood Series has been expanded and is now available in eight distinct fabrics. The Atwood Sofa is a tailored design which features a blind-tufted seat, back, and arms, along with piping details which lend to a clean, sophisticated look.

All three are constructed with 100 per cent FSC-Certified Wood in support of responsible forest management.
