Nude Show selects 18 design studios and eight design schools for the upcoming Habitat Valencia trade fair
The 14th edition of the young design talents showcase, called Nude Show, has chosen its participants and is ready to take place from 1 to 5 February, in the framework of Feria Hábitat Valencia.
The 20 creators and design studios were chosen by a jury composed of designers Ximo Roca, Gelo Álvarez y Luis Calabuig, entrepreneur José Albargues (Missana) and Gracia Cardona, president of ADI FAD. Nine design schools and Universities were recently added to the list.
During the selection process, the jury highlighted the new designers commitment to integrate new materials, uses and applications in the Habitat spaces, in order to enhance the user experience.
The group of designers and studios participating in Nude 2016 are not surprisingly mostly Spanish, and listed in alphabetical order, are: Achodoso, Calamina, Cardeoli, Elena Martínez and Carlos Tur, Estudio Apu’a, Estudio Javier Sebastián, Estudio Pablo Maestre, Iron & Wood, Jaume Molina, Jonay, Momocca Deco&Design, Octavio Asensio Estudio, Ominivoros, R que R, Silvia Ceñal Design Studio, Tabuhome, Talco and Testa Studio.
Standing beside them, Nude 2016 will also be a showcase for the main universities and design schools of our country, some of which participate for the first time in this event, such as Barreira Arte y Diseño, la Escola d’Art i Superior de Ceràmica de Manises and the Escuela de Arte y Superior de Diseño de Alicante.
Moreover the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia, Universitat Jaume I de Castellón, the Escola d’Art i Superior de Disseny de Valencia, the Universidad Cardenal Herrera CEU San Pablo de Valencia and EINA, Centre Universitari de Disseny i Art de Barcelona will be present once again.
