Alterna Engineered Stone by Armstrong has won a 2015 Good Design Award.
“We are honored that, out of several thousand of the world’s leading manufacturers, Armstrong was recognized for our innovation and cutting-edge design,” said Ebeth Pitman, Director of Brand Management, Armstrong. “This award demonstrates our strong commitment to not just innovation but also to quality aesthetics and performance.”
Alterna engineered tile flooring is manufactured in Kankakee, Illinois, and features more than 90 per cent domestic content.
The Good Design awards program is organized annually by The Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design, in cooperation with the European Centre for Architecture, Art, Design and Urban Studies.
All awards and winners are posted on the Museum’s website at www.chi-athenaeum.org and also are published in the Good Design Yearbook for 2014-2015.
