LumiGroup opens first public showroom in Montreal
LumiGroup has opened a new showroom in the heart of the Mile End district in Montreal.
Le Studio Luminaires is LumiGroup’s first showroom open to the public. The space adjacent to the existing corporate office space of the company distinguishes itself through its handpicked variety of lighting fixtures, furniture and upscale decorative accessories.
“Montreal is evolving. Needs are evolving. It is by being attentive to our customers and our environment that we also evolve” indicates Jean-Claude Calabro, president of LumiGroup, ranked as one of Canada’s 500 Fastest-Growing Companies in 2015, according to Canadian Business and PROFIT magazine.
For nearly 20 years, LumiGroup has developed its services among architecture, design, and engineer professionals. Having developed specialized expertise in lighting systems, this lighting agent offers not only products but also creative solutions for each project associated with the biggest design and architecture names in Quebec for residential, commercial, industrial and institutional projects, both interior and exterior.
In 2006, LumiGroup settled in Mile End’s St. Viateur East district, a sector in which was recorded, in 2010, the highest concentration of artists, artisans and cultural workers in Canada. Four years later, the company opened its first showroom by appointment only, to allow all the creative minds in the industry to see, manipulate and explore the available product lines.
Today, LumiGroup expands its horizons and meets the needs of a growing clientele: individual customers, design lovers and enthusiasts, and curious minds passing by in growing numbers; offering them an interesting space and products to discover.
Le Studio Luminaires offers carefully selected international brands such as Flos, Luceplan, Fontana Arte, Humanscale, Moooi, Terzani and Absolux. LumiGroup and Le Studio Luminaires’ team constantly journey across the world in search of new products and innovations. This is how new lines such as Tom Dixon, Anglepoise, ANDlight and Castor have recently been added to the portfolio of products offered in the boutique. Other high-end quality lines are expected in the coming months.
Le Studio Luminaires showcases each manufacturer in a sleek, contemporary space where the light attracts the eye. Behind the doors of 5445 de Gaspé, suite 111, one finds both eternal classics of Luceplan as well as the latest trends by Moooi in a fun and lively environment. A team of experts is on site Monday to Friday from 10 to 6 to assist customers in their projects. A full online shopping service will also soon be available.
