Starting today through June 16, 2017, nominations will be accepted online for the eighth annual Canada’s Best Restroom contest. “Clean, well-stocked washrooms play a pivotal role in the customer experience. Many customers won’t return to an establishment with unclean washrooms,” said Candice Raynsford, assistant marketing manager, Cintas Canada Ltd. “The Canada’s Best Restroom contest is designed to be fun while highlighting the role clean washrooms play in driving customer satisfaction and repeat business.”

Last year’s winner, the Whitecourt Esso Super Station in Whitecourt, Alberta, took the throne for its decorative lighting and eye-catching wall tiles, paired with sleek countertops. “This is such a fun and exciting contest and we were overwhelmed by the public’s support and the publicity we received,” said Landon Hommy, owner of the Whitecourt Esso Super Station. “From the radio and TV interviews, to the newspaper coverage, the competition helped shine a light on our small town and raise awareness that people can depend on us to provide a clean and memorable restroom experience.”

This contest is open to any non-residential restroom in Canada that is accessible to the general public. Entries will be judged based on five criteria: cleanliness, visual appeal, innovation, functionality and unique design elements. For more information, please click here.
