figure3 honoured at 2017 Ontario Housebuilder Association Awards

The spotlight was on figure3 at the Ontario Housebuilder Association awards in Niagara Falls last week when the firm walked away with the award for Best Interior Decorating Award of a Model Home over 2,001 sq ft. The Toronto-based firm was recognized for their work with developer Great Gulf’s Westfield development in Brampton, Ontario.

“To have won an award for our first ever low rise model home project is an achievement I’m incredibly proud of,” said figure3’s vice president of residential development, Dominic DeFreitas. “We envision a world where people feel truly connected to the places where they live, work and play, and in order to achieve that, we’ve rejected the notion of developing a signature look. Instead, we start from what the target end user wants from their home, constantly designing with them in mind. We’re excited to continue to work with developers that share our vision.”

The three model homes at the development were designed to showcase a new method of positioning home upgrades to purchasers, as well as creative design concepts that reflected the aesthetic of the target demographic. figure3’s residential development studio is currently working on 32 projects which span low-, mid- and high-rise across Canada and in the United States.

Founded in 1995, figure3 has grown to become one of Canada’s largest independent interior design studios. The firm’s multidisciplinary approach has evolved from its singular focus on corporate workplace to include retail and residential development design.
