IDS Toronto returns for its 20th year in January

IDS TorontoBringing together internationally recognized designers and avant-garden concepts from around the world, the Interior Design Show returns to Toronto in the new year. Kicking off with an opening party on January 18, the three-day show  provides an annual catalyst for millions of dollars spent on design, while positioning Toronto as a key player in the global design scene.

Following the inaugural party, the show kicks off in earnest with January 19th’s Professional Trade Day, followed by the weekend’s Globe Style Saturday and House & Home Sunday. With hundreds of exhibitors set to shine a spotlight on the best new products and furniture, IDS Toronto will also introduce a diverse range of speakers, with Toronto’s own George Yabu and Glenn Pushelberg recently announced as next year’s International Guests of Honour.

Since the doors first opened in 1999, IDS has been visited by over 700,000 design professionals, design-savvy consumers and media; it has served as a design industry hub providing a unique and unrivalled business opportunity for thousands of design-driven businesses. Each year, world-renowned designers and architects participate as keynote speakers and create inspiring feature exhibits.

With its ambitious programming, IDS Toronto is a driving force of the city’s flourishing design scene. The fair promotes rising design talents and attracts keynote speakers of international acclaim, making it the must-see event of the year for established and emerging design.

Taking place at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, IDS Toronto returns for its 20th year January 18-21.
