Cosentino introduces four new Dekton surface colours
Cosentino, a global leader in the production and distribution of surfaces for the world of architecture and design, introduces four new Dekton colours to its ultra-compact surface selection in the Canadian market. These new additions join existing Dekton collections, offering a range of dark and light hues with excellent technical properties expected of the revolutionary ultra-compact surface brand.
Created from a sophisticated blend of inorganic materials using an innovative ultra-compaction process, Dekton has a high resistance to UV rays, scratches, stains and thermal shock. These benefits ensure its surfaces are durable and very easy to maintain, offering a wealth of possibilities for both internal and external projects, including flooring, façades, wall cladding and countertops.
Fossil — A textured mottled grey stone with fossil-like organisms is reminiscent of ancient times. Its mottled pattern gives naturalness to any space, bringing not only beauty but also singularity and personality.
“Dekton has been extremely well received within the Canadian market since the brand launched in 2013 and these new colours demonstrate our commitment to Canadian architects and designers by providing a quality product with consistent new colour options,” says Massimo Ballucchi, Director of Marketing for Cosentino North America. “We look forward to the imminent success of these new colour offerings that exhibit the best in design and performance.”
Dekton is a sophisticated mixture of the raw materials that is used to manufacture glass, porcelain materials and quartz surfaces. The Dekton surface can recreate any type of material with a high level of quality. It is manufactured in large format (up to 126 in x 26 in) and thin thicknesses (0.8 cm, 1.2 cm and 2 cm).
