Roche Bobois brings touch of French glamour to Canadian Screen Awards
On March 11, Roche Bobois will have the honour of dressing up the VIP lounge at the 2018 Canadian Screen Awards. Hosted by the Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television, the Canadian Screen Awards celebrate the talent of local artists and artisans and reward excellence in film, television and digital media productions.
Below, we preview some of the pieces pieces that will add a special touch to this prestigious evening. The lounge will also honour Roche Bobois’ latest collaboration with Kenzo Takada.
Design: Roberto Tapinassi & Maurizio Manzoni — Upholstered in ATLAS solid leather (thickness 2mm), full grain, pigmented finish. Adjustable polyester microfibre backs (pivoting mechanism in cast aluminium). Seat cushions in bi-density foam 40-45kg/m3. Solid wood and plywood structure. XL cross-webbing elastic straps suspension. Metal base. Also available in other dimensions or as a straight sofa. Optional deco cushions.
Design: Wood & Cane Design — Structure in steel and stainless-steel wire. The striking tables are hand-woven, using a single stainless steel wire.
Design: Cédric Ragot — The elegant floor lamp is made of lacquered metal with a dimmer in white pongee fabric. Screen diameter: 50cm.
Design: Fabrice Berrux — A sculputural bookcase consisting of six modules. Dark grey or matte white lacquered MDF exterior, interior with matte lacquer finish (nine stains available). Base with levels. Assembly dowel between each module.
Design: Sacha Lakic — Upholstered in fabric or leather, with piping in fabric or leather. Foam structure, moulded while cold. Chrome-plated base with memory position and automatic return function.
