Adding to Teknion’s two Best of NeoCon wins, Studio TK announced today that two of its new product introductions earned awards at NeoCon, North America’s most important commercial design show held annually in Chicago. Borough won a Silver Best of NeoCon Award in the Lounge Furniture Collections category, and was named Winner of the Workplace: Modular Sofa category in the HiP Awards sponsored by Interior Design magazine. Another Studio TK product introduction, the Cesto interactive collection of seating and table elements designed by Khodi Feiz, was selected as one of only 33 new products to receive a Metropolis Likes NeoCon Award, sponsored by Metropolis magazine. Cesto was also a Finalist in the HiP Awards Workplace: Bench/Stool category.
Luum Textiles also announced that its new Tactility Collection was honoured with two awards and was recognized as a HiP Awards finalist at NeoCon, North America’s most important commercial design show held annually in Chicago. Tactility earned Silver in the Best of NeoCon Awards, Textiles: Upholstery category. The collection was also named a Winner in the Metropolis Likes NeoCon Awards.

And now these prestigious awards for our new Borough and Cesto products, which pay tribute to the exceptional design capabilities that Christophe Pillet and Khodi Feiz bring to our product portfolio.”
Borough is a collection of hospitality oriented elements set to enhance our daily experience as we journey between our destinations. “Thoughtful public spaces enhance our daily experience as we journey between our destinations. To be welcoming and comfortable for people meeting and talking for extended periods of time. And to create an experience – a feeling, a touch, an emotion.”
Cesto, Spanish for “basket,” is a collection of interactive seating and table elements designed to address the dynamic collaborative and social behaviours typical of today’s work environment. “For me, Cesto is all about freedom and flexibility,” said Khodi Feiz. “The flexibility to gather and collaborate spontaneously. Freely reconfiguring and morphing into settings depending on your needs throughout the day. Creating a dynamic and effective layout reflective of today’s social work. This freedom also extends into the different functional typologies, into the colouring and material choices and their compositions.”
Meanwhile, Luum Textiles’ Tactility was recognized as a Finalist in the Workplace: Fabric & Textiles category of the HiP Product Awards sponsored by Interior Design magazine. Suzanne Tick, Creative Director, Luum Textiles, was honoured with a HiP People Award at NeoCon, which honours commercial industry pioneers. Tick was named Winner of the Manufacturer: Leader category.
