IDC launches website for Value of Design Thinking Symposium
Mark your calendars and join the national interior design community in Toronto in Fall 2018 as the Interior Designers of Canada (IDC) host the Value of Design Thinking Symposium, billed as one of North America’s most uplifting, inspiring and expansive educational conferences showcasing the true value of design. The official website for the three-day event has now launched, and can be found here.
Alongside a full schedule for the Value of Design Thinking symposium, the new site also features bios of the three keynote speakers; Heather M.A. Fraser, David Dunne, and Bill Browning. In addition, applications for the IDC’s coast-to-coast travel subsidy are also being accepted through the website:
IDC is committed to supporting the diversity of individuals and organisations working to strengthen the interior design profession. The Coast-to-Coast Travel Subsidy affords those IDC members who might otherwise not be able to attend, the opportunity to represent their organization at IDC’s inaugural Design Symposium and Annual General Meeting.
The Travel Subsidy is funded by individual sponsors in an effort to promote participation and reduce barriers for delegates wishing to attend the Design Symposium.
It is IDC’s ongoing effort to subsidize every applicant through the Coast-to-Coast Travel Subsidy program.

The Symposium will bring together thought leaders, subject experts and game changers from the wider design, business and media community to highlight the crucial role of design in shaping a productive, healthy and inclusive society. The three-day event will be held at the Marriott Downtown Eaton Centre Hotel in Toronto from September 16-19.
