Exhibitor momentum builds ahead of Germany’s ORGATEC 2018

A few months before ORGATEC 2018, the leading international trade fair for modern working environments is almost fully booked. 583 companies have already confirmed their participation. Among them are 472 foreign companies from 38 countries. 5 of them come from the USA and 2 from Canada. At the present time, 81 per cent of exhibitors are from outside Germany. There will be a particularly strong presence from companies from Italy, Spain and Denmark. In addition, there will be group participations from China, Hong Kong, Italy (3), Korea, Portugal, Spain and Taiwan. In 2016, approximately 56,000 trade visitors travelled from around the world to Cologne to discover new launches and trends in furnishing, flooring, acoustics, lighting, and media and conferencing technology at ORGATEC 2018.ORGATEC 2018

From 23 to 27 October 2018, the fair in Cologne will again be the creative heart of networking, collaboration and new trends in office space planning. The digital transformation means work is no longer tied to firmly defined spaces and times. Tomorrow’s office can be anywhere … even in our heads. In the light of these developments, how can workplaces be created which give freedom and structure equal space? What kind of environment makes it possible for ideas to grow, for achievements to surpass achievements, and for meetings to become successful brainstorming sessions? How can we structure the collaboration of individualists? These are the kind of questions addressed by ORGATEC 2018.

The leading international trade fair for the modern working world presents integrated solutions and overall concepts for everything connected with the office as a working and living space office. In Halls 5.2, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10.1, 10.2 and 11.2, leading manufacturers from Germany and abroad will showcase their new products and services. The range of trade visitors to ORGATEC comprises founders of start-up companies, dealers and decision makers from medium-sized enterprises, architects and interior designers as well as representatives from the property sector and executives from the Procurement and Human Resources departments of large corporations.ORGATEC 2018

This years’ event takes place under the banner headline “[email protected]” and addresses questions such as what types of spaces the work culture of the future will call for. After all, digital transformation means work is no longer tied to firmly defined spaces and times. Tomorrow’s office can be anywhere … even in our heads.

The future belongs to flexible knowledge workers who work creatively and with a sense of responsibility — and it belongs to a work culture that is based more so than ever before on cooperation, motivation and trust in the spirit of partnership. In the light of these developments, how can workplaces be created which give freedom and structure equal space? What kind of environment makes it possible for ideas to grow, for achievements to surpass achievements, and for meetings to become successful brainstorming sessions? How can we structure the collaboration of individualists? ORGATEC 2018 addresses these questions addressed and provides a platform for innovative products and pioneering ideas, thematically divided into the Space, Contract, Mobile and Office segments.

ORGATEC 2018 will take place from October 23 to 27 October. More information is available via the official website, linked here.
