Winners announced at 2018 National Awards Of Landscape Excellence
The National Awards of Landscape Excellence recognizes the best landscape construction, design and maintenance in Canada. The program is adjudicated by a panel of industry experts, who evaluate residential and commercial landscapes from across the country each year.
The 15th annual National Awards of Landscape Excellence took place on August 15th at the Algonquin Resort in St. Andrews-by-the-Sea, N.B. Over 100 landscape professionals and guests celebrated the best of the best in landscape horticulture for 2018.
Five landscape category awards were presented, along with the Garden Centres Canada award for Outstanding Retail Achievement, the Green for life Industry Award and the Caterpillar Green for Life Community Award.
The 2018 winners are:
CSL Group of Ancaster, Ont.: Caterpillar National Award of Landscape Excellence in Commercial Landscape Construction; University of Waterloo – South Commons Courtyard
Airo Landscapes. of St. John’s, N.L.: National Award of Excellence for Landscape Design; Doran Lane
Aden Earthworks of North York, Ont.: National Award of Landscape Excellence in Commercial Maintenance; Twin Peaks
Pro-Land Landscape Construction of Brampton, Ont.: Caterpillar National Award of Landscape Excellence for Residential Construction; Modern Masterpiece
Shades of Summer Landscaping & Maintenance of Waterdown, Ont.: National Award of Landscape Excellence for Residential Maintenance; Balfour Residence
Dynascape: Green for Life Industry award
Scott’s Nursery of Lincoln, N.B.: Outstanding Retail Achievement.
Community Innovation Project, N.B.; Caterpillar Green for Life Community Award
The Canadian Nursery Landscape Association (CNLA) is a national not-for-profit federation of nine provincial landscape and horticulture associations representing over 3,800 members. Comprised of thousands of locally owned companies that grow, sell, design, install, and maintain plants and other landscape features, members represent the country’s multi-billion dollar green industry.
