Gus* Modern, the Toronto-based home furnishings brand, is launching an event this month with its retail network called “Keep on Giving”. The promotion, which will run from January 3 to 27, offers consumers a discount on modern furniture when they help local food banks.
Consumers that support local food banks at their preferred Gus* Modern retailer will receive a 15% discount on the MSRP on Gus* upholstery, dining, beds, home office, storage, and accents. To qualify, they are asked to make an in-store donation of non-perishable food items. Collected food will be distributed by participating Gus* retailers to local food banks in their respective communities.
“Food banks need support throughout the year”, said Neil James, Managing Partner of Gus* retailer Stylegarage, located in Toronto. “With a modest donation in January as part of the Keep on Giving Event, customers not only get a great deal on Gus* Modern furniture, they also support families in their community that need some extra help after the holiday season.”
The Gus* Modern furniture collection includes in-stock upholstery, beds, dining, home office, storage and accent designs. The Keep on Giving Event will include popular Gus* pieces like the Atwood Sectional, along with recent introductions such as the Nexus Modular Sectional, Gander Desk and Bracket Dining Table.
