DX Intersection, the Design Exchange’s annual fall fundraiser party, “celebrates a Canadian individual or partnership that demonstrates superior creativity, outstanding talent, and innovative vision.” Last November’s honoree was Oliver El-Khatib, who co-founded the Ovo Sound record label, a Warner Music subsidiary, with hip-hop artist Drake and producer Noah “40” Shebib. The event also marked the final night of Shauna Levy’s tenure as DX president and CEO; she will head a cannabis startup.
