Outcome of Design Conference line-up announced
ASID has released the programming for its first-ever Outcome of Design Conference, held this March 21-22 at Chicago’s Merchandise Mart. Created as a complement to the Society’s new Outcome of Design Awards, the Conference seeks to offer programming, resources, and networking to bolster the power and profession of design through an in-depth focus on the impact it has on the human experience.
In addition to the announcement of the Outcome of Design Award winners, the Outcome of Design Conference will host a robust slate of programming and speakers. Doreen Lorenzo, M.A, assistant dean of the School of Design and Creative Technologies and clinical professor of Design and Future, director of the Center for Integrated Design, University of Texas-Austin, will offer the keynote, “Preparing Future Generations to Influence Corporate Culture.”
Other speakers include:
- Kate Lister, President, Global Workplace Analytics;
- Sandra Leigh Lester, BTech.Arch.Sci., MCOD, ARIDO, IDC, ZIN, PTS, CSBA, LEED AP BD+C, Founder and CEO, Affecting Change, Inc.;
- Fred Marks, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, Six Sigma Green Belt, President, Academy of Neuroscience for Architecture (ANFA), Visiting Scholar, Salk Institute for Biological Studies.
