Cosentino unveils new lightweight Dekton Slim
Cosentino revealed their new lightweight 4mm Dekton Slim that offers unlimited design options in an ultra-thin durable surface. Dekton Slim is a low-maintenance moisture-resistant format ideal for wall cladding in kitchens, bathrooms, and backsplashes.

The ultra-thin surface is also suitable for furniture cladding including tables, cabinetry doors and drawers. Cosentino’s latest edition is available in large dimensions for coverage that helps avoid high number of joints, dirt and mold of up to 126 in x 56 in.
Dekton by Cosentino’s compact layer is a mixture category of raw materials used to manufacture glass, porcelain materials and quartz surfaces.
According to Cosentino, the Dekton surface has the ability to recreate any type of material with a high level of quality.
Its technical characteristics are resistance to UV rays, scratches, stains, thermal shock and very low water absorption. All of these features are present due to the technology used in its production, which is developed exclusively by the Cosentino Group’s R&D department.
Dekton’s easy-to-maintain indoor and outdoor use of flooring, façades, wall cladding and countertops, is manufactured with a compaction process called Technology of Sinterized Particles (TSP).
Dekton Slim is now available in eight colours: Opera, Zenith, Kelya, Sirocco, Kovik, Nayla, Sirius, and Sasea.
As part of their commitment to sustainability and a circular economic model, various Dekton colours are made with recycled materials from the their own manufacturing process.
