Pantone Introduces Interiors Polyester Swatch Book for all Designers
PANTONE introduced a new folder for designers creating products in non-organic materials called the Pantone Fashion, Home + Interiors Polyester Swatch Book. This manual is a collection of 203 vibrant and versatile colour options presented in one convenient binder.

According to PANTONE, the new Fashion, Home + Interiors Polyester Swatch Book “addresses this market demand for a deeper level of coloration by displaying a colour depth best achieved with a non-cotton based textile dyed system”.
“The story of the market today is one of material innovation, something which in turn is driving the market need for greater hue intensity and trend relevant colour beyond those formulated for natural fibers,” said Laurie Pressman, Vice-President, Pantone Color Institute.
Creating a system of colours using dyes specifically for polyester removes the guesswork and enables quick and accurate reproduction of other synthetic fibers.
PANTONE’s Fashion, Home + Interiors polyester collection includes neutral and bright shades for designers and colorists working in apparel, textiles, and soft home. The new Swatch Book format provides an easy-to-use portfolio supporting creators through their workflow, and increasing speed to market.
The colour assortment in PANTONE’S new polyester system is a comprehensive mix suited across the design spectrum including all fashion and lifestyle focused markets, and home furnishings.
“Ranging from timeless foundational neutrals to vivid eye-popping brights, the colours in our new PANTONE Fashion, Home + Interiors Polyester Swatch Book were uniquely curated for polyester and cannot be reproduced in cotton with the same degree of clarity,” said Pressman.
Features of the new swatch book include:
- 2“x 2” loose format poly swatches dyed in 100% warp knit polyester
- Removable swatches for easy colour selection and palette development
- Colours arranged chromatically by colour family
- Visualization of 35 colours on each binder page
“Pantone is always looking for ways to ensure we are not only delivering on colour and colour management, but also ensuring our products are creating a seamless user-friendly experience for designers to achieve their desired look for their products.” said Adrián Fernández, Vice President and General Manager of Pantone. “We are dedicated to continuously finding ways to create products that are versatile and offer the vibrancy of colour that they need across preferred material.”
