SBID International Design Awards Extends Entry Deadline
Due to numerous requests, SBID organizers have decided to extend the entry deadline of the SBID International Design Awards 2019 until July 31st.

The SBID International Design Awards represent over 40 countries across every continent, and brings a range of interior design projects from 14 residential and commercial categories.
According to SBID, this year’s edition is intended to be bigger and better with the addition of SBID’s 10th anniversary celebrations. The program has also planned a ceremony at its new venue: Grosvenor House, Park Lane in London.
This year brings new creative directors to the panel of judges from brands such as Nike, MAC Cosmetics, Universal Studios, and the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum and Foundation.
The SBID International Design Awards are awarded on the quality of design, innovation, aesthetic and value-added to the project.

Entrants go through a two-tier judging process by panels of leading industry experts for technical content and creativity.
Projects are also evaluated by essential elements such as compliance with the brief, budget, health/safety and fit-for-purpose design.
The Judges decisions are then finalized by a third tier online public vote, where the public judges all finalists’ designs.
SBID states that their accredited designers can exclusively enter up to 5 projects free (admin fee applies) as part of their membership benefits.
Non-members can enter for £150 per entry plus admin fee.
The finalists will be announced after the public vote on August 16th.
The 14 category winners, and one overall winner, will be revealed at the Awards ceremony in October.
