Eventide, Vancouver
Deecorp Properties’ new luxurious condo development, Eventide, is coming soon to Vancouver’s Beach Avenue. Located at 1460 Bute St., Eventide has a total of three units dispersed across a four-storey building, with unobstructed panoramic ocean views. Hodgson Design Associates is the firm responsible for the interior spaces of the spacious homes, which are accompanied by 360 degrees of sunlight.
The building includes two and three bedroom floor plans, premium kitchens complete with Gaggenau appliances, and spa-like bathrooms with floor-to-ceiling Italian Calacatta marble.
“Residents can savour the panoramic views and take in the happenings across the waterfront on looking Burrard Inlet, all while living within the epitome of luxury,” said Stanley J Dee, founder of Deecorp Properties.
The exclusive beachfront property is aimed at international buyers. The units will be sold as a 30-year non-renewable leasehold property, which according to the Globe and Mail, will revert back to the owner at the end of the term.
Designed by Gregory Borowski, Principal at Vancouver and Victoria-based architecture firm, Merrick Architecture, horizontal wood and metal sunshades above the fourth level augment Eventide’s southwest facing balconies for sun protection.
“The presence of wood is felt on the exterior soffits, the jambs of the masonry portals, and at the main entrance. The visitor is drawn over flagstones at the entrance, and then approaches the glass entrance lobby that terminates the entrance vista,” said Merrick Architecture.
The firm also states that circulation is simple and direct in Eventide’s 1,465 – 3,070 sq.ft space. Access to the units is directly off the elevator at each level, and the occupant immediately approaches the framed water view when they’ve entered the suite.
